Mansfield and District Hospital (Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse District Hospital; Mansfield General Hospital, later Fourways) SK 538 614 BF102451. Erected in 1867 as the Mansfield Woodhouse and District Hospital and Convalescent Home. The hospital was converted to a public house in the 20th century. The building is of two storeys and is of stone construction under at pitched, tile covered roof. It is built in a standard traditional style and is essentially domestic in appearance. It has a number of different connecting elevations. Later adaptations to a public house is believed to have significantly altered the internal plan of the building.

Basford Union Workhouse, later Basford Public Assistance Institution. Renamed Highbury Hospital after the Second World War. The original buildings were demolished in 2004 and a new hospital erected on the site, retaining the name Highbury Hospital, catering for mental health, old age and learning disabilities.
